81 Larch is a study in restraint and resonance—an interior defined not by excess but by intention. Designed for a high-rise residential apartment, this project orchestrates quiet luxury through custom walnut millwork, integrated ambient lighting, and a tonal palette of stone, bronze, and soft textiles.
In the living area, open shelving becomes an architectural backdrop—carved in rhythm, weight, and negative space—to hold curated objects and books without overwhelming the atmosphere. The kitchen continues this language with full-height walnut cabinetry, a seamless marble-veined stone backsplash, and concealed appliances that blend into the architecture rather than disrupt it.
The bedroom is composed with vertical walnut panels and soft inset lighting, anchored by a low platform bed and sculptural side tables. Every material surface—matte, warm, grounded—contributes to a spatial stillness. In the bathroom, floating vanities, integrated stone basins, and fluted lighting echo the project's essential grammar: calm, elemental clarity.
This project embodies a design philosophy centered on spatial depth, material honesty, and the silence between gestures. It is not merely a space to occupy, but a space to arrive into.
